The Application

A specialist potato processing machine had a non-standard rotary shaft arrangement that required custom seals. Standard catalogue seals did not fit the geometry, and modified standard seals were leaking consistently.

Our Solution

We designed bespoke rotary seals to the exact shaft dimensions and housing geometry. The material was selected for food contact compliance and resistance to the starchy, wet processing environment.

The Outcome

The custom seals fitted perfectly, eliminated the leakage issue, and have been running reliably since installation. The customer now orders replacement sets on a planned schedule rather than on an emergency basis.
